Q: How do you think it came to be recorded in scripture what happened in Jesus' private moments when no one else was with Him, like when Satan tempted Him and when He was praying in the garden of Gethsemene? The disciples were supposed to have been sleeping l thought and when He was tempted He was alone with Satan. The only way l can see this information being revealed in scripture was if it was given to the disciples by Jesus after the events occurred.
How did they know He asked to be spared the cross if possible and not His will, but the Father's be done, etc.

A: Either Jesus gave it to the disciples afterward, or it was pure enlightenment of the holy spirit.
I think it was the holy spirit inspiring them and educating them and basically dictating to them the words--even things that they "could not have known."

I am a spiritual seeker, just like you. I have sampled the religious
institutions of humans and found them unable to contain the greatness of
God. All my life, I have had deep questions about God and my
relationship to Him: Why am I here? Why is there so much evil in the
world? Is the universe coming to an end? What will happen to my
